nadine zinser-junghanns is leading the studio gestaltung I CIAD at the technical university of cologne since 2013. 

gestaltung I CIAD is placed in the field between architecture and productdesign. the studio consistently works and researches at the borderline of architecture and tries to find new knowledge and inspirations from other disciplines of design and construction. 

gestaltung I CIAD is looking for new impulses both in the field of ecology, efficency of materials and in future, human ways of living. high-performance small living units for left-over innercity spaces, new ideas for the cologne concept pavilion, foldable furnitures made of cnc-milled sandwich materials or boat-building workshops show an extract of the interdisciplinary studios range.

prof. richard horden I TU munich

nadine zinser-junghanns was working at tu munich as teaching assistant from 2006 - 2012. in the institute for architecture and product design I TU munich - prof. richard horden - she initiated various design classes with the focus on micro-architecture and transportation design. 

micro-architecture - one of prof. richard hordens key topics - is a synthesis of modern productdesign and high-performance architecture, including high-tech materials and modern manufacturing processes. 

due to her ph.d topic architecture + transportation design nadine zinser-junghanns was working with the students on different design topics placed at the borderline of architecture and tried to find new knowledge and inspirations from other disciplines of design and construction.
